Event Consultation / Configuration
Ticketline work closely with all their client's requirements at the conception stages of an event, in order to thoroughly understand their needs and requirements that their event requires. From this initial consultation process we can support and advise a best course of action which is specifically tailored to the event, leading to a clear and concise system configuration.
Account Management
When we are first asked to provide services to our clients, we will assign a dedicated Account Manager to you who will be your one point of contact for all of your requirements with Ticketline. All of your questions can be directed to that person in the first instance and they will escalate and direct your questions and needs to the correct person or department, as is required.
- The core strengths of our account management service are:
- Your Account Manager will create your event on our systems and manage your event internally until we process your ticket revenues to you. They will therefore, have an intimate knowledge of your event and its ticketing needs having worked with you from the start.
- Our escalation procedure allows your enquiry to be dealt within the timescale that is required, giving you confidence and security in the knowledge that your needs, changes or problems will be dealt with correctly first time, in time, every time.
- The account management function also involves identifying potential new opportunities and advising our clients how Ticketline can best meet those requirements.
Selling Your Event
Website Integration
For all our major festivals and venues, our IT teams will design and provide our bespoke ticket selling page in line with the branding and styling of your website. All you need to do is fit it into your website and direct your traffic to that as the only point of sale. The more sales you can process through a single point, the more effective data you can generate and therefore: the more effective your marketing will be on an ongoing basis.
It utilises our ticket sales engine and is therefore operated by Ticketline, but is completely branded and designed by our own technical team, to seamlessly give the impression it is part of your own website at all points of the ticket ordering process.
Ticketline Marketplace
Every event that we are asked to make available can be found at www.ticketline.co.uk. The events are listed by genre and filterable via location and artist. The site's highly robust structure ensures that we can sell hundreds of thousands of tickets per hour, efficiently and effectively. This site currently exceeds 3 million page hits per month and will help you reach your audiences.
For our clients who are selling for capacities of under 500 tickets per event, we advise this as being the most effective method of ticket selling. Your Account Manager will provide links to your point of sale which you should direct your traffic to, through embedding the links in your marketing literature and websites.
Seats can be chosen by the customer by referring to a comprehensive seating plan (if applicable) of the venue with full knowledge of their location in relation to the stage. The website also hosts a wealth of useful information on every venue in the UK and incorporates other community driven features such as local news items and local transport information.
- Customers can search or browse events by artist, genre, venue or location or view the top sellers. The website has been designed to be secure, user-friendly, fast and robust and contains the following features:
- The site has a very straight forward, simplistic selling process where a transaction can be completed with ease by any user. Essential information can be easily viewed without detracting from this.
- The site is populated with a huge wealth of information about the events and venues that we sell for.
- A news section, the main items of which are shown on the home page of the site. This is used to announce new events, changes to line-ups or to promote certain events.
- Ability to search or browse via a range of criteria, including customised news sections by genre.
- A weekly newsletter sent out to customers letting them know about any new events, or additions/changes to current lineups.
- Targeted emails can be sent out based on customer's sales history, music preferences and the profile the database has of them.
- Referrals from other sites and resulting sales can be tracked for marketing purposes.
- Website administration access is granted through user and group security policies allowing for a secure and highly configurable system.
- The highest level of security is employed to protect customer data. Furthermore, no credit card details are stored on the web servers.
iPhone, iPad, and Android Apps
The revolutionary Ticketline App for iPhone, iPad and Android mobile and tablet devices is now available to all customers of Ticketline. The App has been developed natively onto the respective platforms, this enables us to utilise the familiar parts of each platform and make using the App simple and intuitive. The App allows customers to log in and easily complete secure ticket purchases. The App will use the individual devices' built in GPS to show what's on where you are and will link through to complete ticket sales.
General functionality includes 'Recommended', 'Recently Added', 'Bio' section showing relevant 'Tour Dates' and 'Reviews', and full 'Venue Information' including 'Maps & Directions' and the search function covers 'Artist A-Z', 'Date', 'Venue', 'Genre', 'Location'
Customers can create an 'Account' and from there they can create a unique 'Profile' defining preferred genres which will affect the look of the Apps 'Home screen', and enables the customer to manage payment information and set their push notifications and update their contact information.
Further we can embed our App Ticket Purchase Plugin directly into your own App enabling a seamless ticket purchase for your event.
Call Centre
Ticketline's state-of-the-art call centre offers a 120 line credit and debit card booking facility, operating from 8am until 11pm from Monday to Friday and 9am until 9pm at weekends. This service can operate as a full service or as an overspill or out of hours facility depending on your requirements.
Utilising our specialist call management and reporting tools results in exceptional, market-leading customer waiting times and call abandonment rates, ensuring tickets for your events are sold as fast as possible.
Facebook Integration
The Ticketline Facebook App enables the display of your events through the world's biggest social platform plugging directly into your Facebook page. We build each App on a custom, client by client basis and then configure it to display for single or multiple events or venue.
Once built the App can be installed on the client's Facebook page with just 3 clicks, visitors to the App can choose tickets and are then redirected to TL website to purchase.
Marketing Your Event
Our e-marketing function will target our database and affiliate network with relevant promotional information. www.ticketline.co.uk receives over 6.5 million unique visitors and in excess of 30 million page hits per year, whilst our official registered database is ever-expanding & currently exceeds 1.4 million customers and an additional marketing outreach of 13 million.
The exploitation of our database on your behalf is approached in a tailored manner, as we employ sophisticated demographic statistics in relation to the promotion of your events. These include factors such as genre interest details, location profile etc.
So not only will your show gain a phenomenal increase in profile, it will also be made aware to the customers most likely to buy tickets. Our e-marketing function can incorporate the following:

- Sophisticated reporting tools (Analysis of opened links, sales, number of forwards etc.)
Bulk e-mails can be sent at a rate of approximately 1,000,000 per hour. These will have full HTML capabilities. We have a technical support team on hand to deal with replies to bulk e-mails. E-mails can be scheduled to go out at specific times including out of hours. We can also send e-newsletters and promotional e-shots on your behalf to your existing database if required.
Any information sent out will include whatever is required by you in terms of branding, travel and city centre information etc. We can offer a dedicated page on our website which will host all the information available on your events, fully branded to your approval. Your page can be updated as often as required with additional artist information, travel information etc.
We can also advertise your shows on the home page of our website in the news items at periods to suit your requirements such as when events first go on sale and when they need a push or at a time when you want to boost awareness about the event e.g. close to the time of the event or when line-ups are announced in the case of festivals.
When your news item is featured, it will link directly to your dedicated page within our own site (if applicable). We will also support the e-marketing by including regular features within our own national newsletter to our own subscribers (currently 1.4 million+).
Live Reporting
Once the event has been configured account your Account Manager will be able to make available to you our Live Reporting Suite, giving you access to your data on a real time basis. The data will consist of live sales figures, and any harvested customer data: including regional reports, address, postcode, tickets purchased, email address, shipment type, genre, show by show analysis and ticket-type breakdown.
Customer Services
During the course of your event being on sale with us your customers will no doubt have a range of queries concerning their purchase. Our friendly and helpful Customer Service team are on hand throughout the day to resolve any issues to the customer's satisfaction.
Coach Travel
Ticketline partner with Big Green Coach Company, adding an additional coach travel service to your event. The Big Green Coach Company is an award winning travel company, specialising in the music and live events industries, combining a high level of experience you would expect from a FTSE 250 transport company.
Ticketline partnering with the Big Green Coach acts as the official travel provider to many major events including V Festival, Creamfields, Kendal Calling, Bestival and Camp Bestival (plus many more), and carries over 100,000 customers on their national coach services and shuttle bus operations.
Ticketline in conjunction with the Big Green Coach have unrivalled knowledge and experience with a real focus on the live events transport industry, which no other coach operator can provide.
Merchandise Sales
Ticketline can also service all your merchandise sales requirements. This service is designed to provide additional buying opportunities to your customers and is closely integrated with the sale of your tickets and thus increases revenues and profitability for you.
- We will take delivery of your items and effectively manage the transaction on your behalf working to pre-agreed service levels.
- The item will appear in our ticket selling pages as an extra item for your clients to purchase, increasing your up-sells and cross-sells, maximising the transaction on your behalf to your domestic and international clients.
- Typically we will take delivery of a limited supply of stock of your CDs, Clothing, Brochures or Souvenir Tickets or any other items of merchandise and provide live reporting around your sales.
- Our "Digital Merchandise Offering" gives clients the chance to distribute their digital media to our customers via our newsletters and assisted marketing service.
- The Warehouse Project, AEG and Live Nation all use this service.
Secure Despatch
The distribution of tickets is again controlled by you, as we offer numerous delivery options, including standard post, e-tickets, guest lists, venue collects and a Special Delivery service.
The distribution of physical tickets on our client's behalf on small, medium and large scale is the area of greatest competitive advantage that Ticketline possess. The in-house owned and managed software packages allow simple and efficient stock control which integrated with our despatch team allows us to meet all of our ticket distribution targets.
- This team distribute more event tickets than any other agency in the shortest time, correctly, first time.
- Because tickets are highly attractive to forgers and criminal activity we can work to ticket embargoes that you give us, in an attempt to secure your brand integrity and incomes.
- We can match bar-coded wristbands with tickets for effective distribution and gate entry.
- We will insert additional marketing material to your ticket purchasers (it must fit in a DL envelope).
- We will send out your tickets via whichever delivery method you or your client stipulates.
- This core function is scalable and increased and decreased dependant on our client needs and our demand patterns.
Because of the effectiveness of this department we have been brought in regularly to assist with the sale and distribution of Championship and Conference play-off ticketing needs, as we are able to service and turnaround your tickets and deliver them on time, every time.
On-Site Secure Entry with IT Support
Ticketline are also able to provide all the necessary hardware, software, training and support to successfully implement on-site scanning of bar-coded tickets, e-tickets and RF wristbands. Our tickets possess a host of security features including holograms, colour banded paper, embossing and bar codes.
The scanning devices are hand held and come preloaded with our user friendly scanning software. They are connected to the customer database by way of a wireless network which can be used in a variety of environments. The system also offers real-time reporting, which allows easy monitoring of crowd flow and capacity.
On Site Box Office
For the duration of your event Ticketline are able to provide on-site Box Office Support in order to provide a collects service, resolve any outstanding issues and to provide a day sales service. Our friendly and supportive box office staff will be on hand throughout the event to support and assist your customers providing you with peace of mind and your customers with fast and efficient entry.
